    Hertsmere U16s won the Watford Friendly League Spring Plate via a dramatic penalty shootout.

    The match against Abbots Youth finished 1-1 after extra time, Callum Spalding's superb header from Aiden Thacker's cross cancelling out a first-half goal from their opponents.

    Jack Baker, Charlie Watts, Michael Brindley and Aiden Thacker struck from the spot, but it was a fine all-round team performance.

    Borehamwood Youth U11 Diamonds finished their season with a 10-5 victory over Hadley Rangers.

    Matthew Byfield hit a hat-trick, while Alex Murphy (2), Sean Hagger (2), Miles Dryland, Joshua Luther and Taylor Blake were also on target.

    Borehamwood 2000 U10s saw off Northwood Black 3-1 with goals from TJ Bruce (2) and Tyler Guerra.

    They also beat Everett Rovers 3-0, Dan White (2) and Rob Forty on target.
